Full Synopsis

Little Flyer is an emotional, inspirational drama centered on Annie Dorsey, a spirited young girl whose love for ice skating is cut short after a tragic car accident takes her father’s life and leaves her physically impaired.

Years later, Annie and her mother Kate move to the countryside to rebuild their lives. Struggling with isolation, bullying, and her physical limitations, Annie clings to a cherished snow globe—a symbol of the graceful skater she longs to become. Despite her outward optimism, Annie quietly battles the pain of feeling “less than” and disconnected from the world around her.

Next door lives Rob Vanderbilt, a former hockey hero haunted by his own devastating loss—his wife and daughter died in a plane crash the same night he achieved his greatest victory. Now a recluse battling alcoholism, Rob has shut himself off from life.

Their worlds collide when Rob saves Annie from drowning. Reluctantly, he begins to mentor her after discovering her dream of skating again. What begins as simple physical therapy evolves into a deeply transformative journey—for both of them.

Through grueling training, setbacks, and emotional breakthroughs, Annie slowly regains strength and confidence. Rob, inspired by her determination, confronts his grief and fights his addiction. Meanwhile, Kate struggles between protecting her daughter and allowing her to take risks in pursuit of her dream.

When Annie decides to enter a competitive skating event, she must face not only her physical limitations but also the doubts of others—and the fear of failure. After a devastating injury threatens to end everything, Annie makes a final, courageous stand.

In a powerful climax, Annie performs a breathtaking routine that symbolizes her journey—from brokenness to flight—proving that true strength comes not from perfection, but from perseverance, love, and belief.

Little Flyer is a heartfelt story about healing, second chances, and the courage to chase impossible dreams.
