Synopsis

Songs From Heaven is a powerful faith-based drama that follows Kesha Jackson, a young girl whose life is shattered when her father suddenly dies before her eyes.

In the aftermath, her mother spirals into addiction and despair, leaving Kesha emotionally and physically vulnerable. When the situation becomes unsafe, Kesha is placed in foster care with Isaac and Vivian Thompson—a compassionate preacher and his wife—who offer her stability, faith, and love.

Struggling with guilt, loss, and uncertainty about God, Kesha begins to rebuild her life. Through Vivian’s guidance, she discovers a hidden gift: an extraordinary singing voice. At the same time, she forms a deep friendship with Marquis, a boy battling a serious heart condition, and Sadie, a mysterious woman living in isolation in the woods who shares her love of music and spirituality.

As Kesha grows, she begins experiencing vivid dreams where she hears songs whispered from above—songs she believes are coming from heaven. These divine messages inspire her to write music that touches everyone around her, including her foster family, her church, and ultimately her estranged mother.

When Kesha finally finds the courage to share her voice publicly, it leads to a powerful reunion with her recovering mother, bringing healing and forgiveness to their broken relationship.

But just as life begins to come full circle, tragedy strikes again. A sudden accident leaves Kesha critically injured, while Marquis’ life hangs in the balance due to his failing heart. In a final act of faith and selflessness, Kesha chooses to donate her heart to save him, embracing her belief that her purpose is greater than her own life.

Through her sacrifice, Kesha’s legacy lives on—in Marquis, in her music, and in the lives she forever changes. Her songs, believed to be gifts from heaven, become a lasting testament to faith, love, and the power of purpose beyond this world.
